Iron Age Sword

Description: Copper alloy sword with antennae hilt. One of the antenae is broken away. There are two iron rivets at the base and the blade has a wide mid-rib.

Aquisition History: Found in 1891. Acquired by Sir John Evans and presented to the Ashmolean by Sir Arthur Evans in 1927.
